Roots in Qatar

We are a Qatari company, proud of our heritage and our reputation for integrity, honesty and dependability earned over more than 6 decades of business in Qatar. A&P was originally established in 1954 as Mohammed Abdul Latif Almana & Bros and was awarded the dealership of Philips in the State of Qatar. This was followed by a further strategic partnership entered into in 1959 when it sponsored African & Eastern -the trading wing of Unilever Arabia in the Middle East. The company was renamed "Almana & Partners W.L.L." in 1989 after a restructuring of the business operations and divisions.

Almana & Partners has proven itself to be a valued partner over many years and we have a proud track record of delivering value to our customers and our suppliers as evidenced by the longstanding relationships and awards bestowed upon us:

Our relationship with Unilever extends back to 1959. Almana & Partners was named as the “Best Distributor in North Africa & Middle East” for 2014. We have also achieved the highest ranking in the GCC countries for Perfect Store – a measure used by Unilever to assess execution in the retail.
We were awarded the Philips Holland dealership in 1954. Philips recognized us as the “Best Distributor in the Middle East” for 2012 and 2013
The distribution rights were acquired in 2000. We were awarded “Best Brand Efficiency” in the GCC for 2014 by Siemens.
Relationship since early 1980’s. They recognized us as the “Best Performer in the GCC” for 2014
Acquired the distribution rights for Minolta in the early 1980’s and when the company merged in 2008 to form Konica Minolta, we were identified as the preferred partner. Awarded “Best Distributor in the Middle East” for 2014

Today A&P is a well-diversified company, having over 800 staff delivering high quality customer service and sustained revenue growth. Our strategic medium-term business planning, performance management, process automation, MIS reporting and continuing investment in human capital and infrastructure position as well as delivering our service and growth mission. Without doubt, we reach almost every household and business in the State of Qatar through our diversified product portfolio. We remain the partner of choice by our respected customers and branded manufacturers based on mutual respect and trust.
